The training session will present strategies that providers can implement to strengthen their current prevention, detection, and reporting efforts as well as provide insight into forming effective partnerships with state ombudsman programs.
The free webinar: Protecting Our Residents: Establishing Partnerships For Effective Elder Abuse Prevention And Detection will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. CT. Registration is now open at alfa.org/elderabusewebinar
The training session will feature Becky Kurtz, Director of the Office of Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs at the Administration for Community Living, Melanie McNeil, State Long-Term Care Ombudsman for the state of Georgia, and Karen Barno, President and CEO of Arizona ALFA. The program is aimed at educating executive directors and other community level executives, so please promote this event to anyone who may be interested.
